I’m David Enzel. I live and work in Washington, DC.
I enjoy, travel, photography and technology. For those old enough to remember, I owned an 8-track tape player. I never met a gadget I didn’t like. For the past ten years, I have relied mainly on Apple for my tech.
I’m a child of immigrants. My father was born in Poland and my mother was born in Czechoslovakia (now Ukraine). They survived the Holocaust. On April 29, 1945, the United States Army liberated them from the Dachau Concentration Camp near Munich, Germany. They then emigrated to the country that freed them, which where I was born.
I’m a proud American who believes that Holocaust education and remembrance are important and bear meaningfully on the current world climate. To this end, I share news related to the Holocaust on Twitter and on a companion site.
I enjoy reading blogs and have benefited from them. I started this blog in 2018 hoping that others will benefit from my thoughts and experiences.
I hope you will come along for the ride.
